I thought that I had read in Kit Car Mag a few years back that the back/rear windshield wiper from a mini van (do not remember which one) could be used no a Lambo conversion with little to no mods.
Anyone done this?
Did I just give up one of my custom ideas?
THX.

At the oil change place I work at (I know, i hate it, and i feel dirty.) We sell wiper blades only by length. not by vehicle. My mom's caravan took a 28" blade. I was kind of looking into this, too, but probably not till summer Hope this helps...

I have looked into this but I think it doesn't look right on a Fiero...a "clean" windscreen contributes to the lines of the Fiero.... "hiding" the wipers would be a better idea (by extending the front hood a little for example)
Thanks for the input. I was wondering if I needed to move the "pivot piont" to the center of the car or not... Would make for a cool mod. See you at the Daytona show! John
John.... I purchased an 86 GT with a Single Wiper Blade cleaning the windshield about 2 months ago. No mods noted to this point, Just one very large wiper blade. If I can talk my friend here in town that has digital camera to take a picture I will try to send it your way so you can make up your on mind. Will also measure the length of the blade. Hop

You might look at the setup some Mercedes cars have since I know for a fact that they use a single pivot point in the middle of the windshield and have some sort of double bladed thing going on (one leads and a second trails). If you've ever watched one go when it hits the apex (top middle of the windshield) the whole wiper arm seems to lower itself so the blade keeps contact with the windshield.

I had taken a pic because I thought it looked kinda neat.
It was on Kaz's car, he's from Illinois.
What he said he did was cut the end off of one arm where the wiper clips to it, then cut the end off the other arm where it attaches to the pivot point, he then adjusted for length and trimmed the extra off so he had about a 1-1 1/2" overlap, he then brazed them together, smoothed with body filler and painted it black.
Here's the pic.
Sorry it took so long for me to get off my butt and post it.
