I am just talking about the rear cradle here...are there any other difference between the 2 other than the different springs?

ie: what makes the WS6 suspension different (I am assuming the the 85 GT has the WS6 suspension - or do they not all have it)?

The only things that could be different are the springs and struts. *Maybe* the density of the bushings, but I doubt it.
By now, the struts and bushings are probably going to be shot, anyway. That just leaves the springs.
