this may sound a little wierd, but are the seat covers interchangable i.e. will the passenger fit the drivers and visa versa

Yes, they will interchange side to side. It is usually best to get the passanger side cover as it will have less wear.

Also, the seat bases will fit on either side(the tracks will not). If you use the passanger base you will not have the side of the seat interfering with the park brake. The frames to the bacK can not be switched to the other side.
