LAst night in I got caught in snow storm. On the way my 84 stalls, the engine backfired a few times and then just quite. After trying to start the car, the battery being just about dead it finally starts just bearly. When It started, it wasn't firing quite right and the starter motor kept it going till it finally ran on its own. Then 20 min later on the road, almost home the car stall again, felt like it was missing and then it was dead. Waited 10 minutes and it pops right over. It seems to do this when it is damp out side. And if it is real damp then it wont start. Sometime If I use a hairdryer to heat the distributor it will start. Im just afaid to get stuck in the middle of no where if this continues.

Sounds like it could be the ignition module, a not uncommon failure. When trying to start and it won't, do you get spark? Have a friend crank while you have a spare plug in one of the spark plug wire boots, with the plug grounded against the engine block. Look at the fuel spray pattern on the injector when cranking, it should be conical and finely divided droplets.
