ok, i am torn between two engines. heres the deal. i recently was given a 3300 for free with about 100,000 on it. my other plan had always been to go with the 4.x engines. (preferrably a 4.5) my question to you all is what performance upgrades can i get for the 3300? is anything the same as the 3.8? can the 3800 sII supercharger bolt to this engine? what aobut the West coast fiero headers? has anyone tried this????

i believe the 3300 is a smaller 3800 series 1 not series 2, so you could probably take the top end off of the 3800 S1 SC and put it on the 3300. i don't personally have a 90* V6 in my fiero, so i could be way off base, but that doesn't happen to often

i just happen to have the 3300 in my 87 gt . It is out of a 91 buick century . I used the trans out of the buick as well. It has the 306 gears . I just took it to the drag strip tonight for the first time ran 10.50 3 times in a row. I am going to switch the trannys sometime this week. I am going to put fiero trans back in 333 ratio also has a better stall conv. than the buick trans will post results when done.

the exhaust from the fiero will not work . the manifolds dump out on opposite sides. i ran mine straight down and built a y-pipe with two tiny mufflers . sounds great.

i know this. i was talking about the WCF headers that put the exhaust at the right position for everything. if they work, i wanna use them. if not, ill have to come up with something on my own. does anyone know for SURE?
