How do I pull the seal up without totally screwing it up? I want to drill the holes in the corners so that it doesn't leak on me. It usually doesn't, but when it does it goes all over my left leg. Close to the weiner. Doesn't look good.

Also, how do I use the spark plug wires to improve the seal? I've got a set lying around since I just did my plugs a few weeks ago and remember hearing Archie use them somehow. (Shoving them in or under or whatnot) What's the proper way to do this?

Anybody have pics of either the holes or the plug wire masheration? (<- Technical term there.)

Thanks in advance. -Souter

Two88gts,

Is the picture from a technical service bulletin? If so could you post or e-mail the entire TSV?

Thanks,

Carroll

I just pulled my sunroof seal out a few days ago....its shot.

Why do people drill the holes in the roof? Wont the water leak down to the interior if it goes under the seal again?

Once water is under the seal, you want to give it somewhere to go besides the interior. The drain holes provide that. IIRC, the holes allow the water to drain into a channel that leads to the rear of the roof. Water flows into the holes, down the channel, and out from under the rear of the roof.

you dont actually have to remove the seal to drill the holes, you can just push it aside and drill next to it.
