Hey Guys,
I have 2 cars. 1 is a 1987 Fiero SE / V6 with a manual transmission, and the other is a 1987 Fiero SE / V6 with an automatic transmission.
The Fiero with the automatic transmission is the one that I want to keep. It has a much better body, no rust, and it's currently registered and insured (I have a 3.2 V6/60 in it right now).
The manual transmission Fiero on the other hand is also a V6, but it does not have a title. It's also missing a few body panels, but is otherwise complete.
What I would like to do is completely swap over every piece of the manual transmission from one car to the other.
Can anyone tell me what kind of work I can expect from this? I've pulled motors before, so that's not a big issue. And I know everything about the V6/60 in our cars like the back of my hand (as in, where all the wires go, etc).
Is there ANYTHING else I have to worry about? I know that I need to swap out the ECMs as well (because one is for a manual and the other is not). Is there anything else that I need to know about? Is it a serious pain in the ass?
Thanks!
