Hi everyone,

Do "regular" fiero's and GT's share the exact same chassis?

Can you remove the regular body panels and put on GT panels?

Thanks,

Brian

The chassis are the same within respective year ranges. '84 through '87, and '88. Minor changes in the '84 to '85 suspension that doesn't affect interchangeability.

Yes, the basic chassis is the same, but things like spring rates and shock valving and sway bar size may be different. But the bodys are interchangeable.

In 88, the coupe, Formula and GT all had identical suspensions with the exception being coupes did not have the rear sway bar and had 14" wheels. Formulas and GTs both had rear sway bars and 15" wheels standard.
