This is for the Caddy experts on the list. In 1992, did the Seville have PFI or TBI or was there a choice ? Did Cadillac offer a 4.5 in 92 ? Is there a serial number that will indicate if it is a 92 and a 4.9 ?

All '92 Seville are 4.9 PFI. 4.5 was available in '92 in Allante only. To verify '92, tenth digit of VIN = N, second digit of tag on engine block = N

In 1992 there was only the 4.9, the last year for the 4.5 was 1990 and it was multiport injected as the 4.9. Pre 1990 was TBI.

A minor, but important correction...

The Allante 4.5 PFI was also available in 91-92.

1990 was not the last year for the PFI 4.5.

I have a 92 Allante 4.5 PFI in my garage.
