How many different Oil Pans are there for the V6 2.8 engine?

Are the 85, 86. 87, and 88's all the same pan?

Thanks,
-Michael

Not entirely sure, but I know the seal changes on either the 87 or the 88. I believe its the 87, but don't quote me on that. And if the oil pan seal changes, I would assume that means that the pan changes as well. Check the Fiero Store, they have both the seals. I think its just the bolt pattern that changes, but I don't know for sure.

85 and 86s are the same and the 87-88 oil pan is the same. So there are two different ones. The timing covers are different.

Does anyone know if the 87-88 oil pan is used on other cars? Specifially a 91 firebird with a 3.1L v6 in it?

Thanks

-Jeff
