hey guy's
i'm new to the list
this is my first post, in the pasted i have got lots of good info from you guy's and "girl" but i'm not able to find any specs on the weight of the car door's i'm looking for info on a 88 GT stock door stock glass,skin with power windows, and locks....

I can't give you an exact weight,but when I baught a couple of doors at the wrecking ward and I would say they weigh about 60lbs. each.So if your going to the wrecking yard,get a dolly or cart.If they don't have any you might consider bringing one.

thanks for the info i'm not looking for a new door i'm just haveing some lamdo style door hinges made for my 88 like the one thay sell at www.decah.net but thay do not make them for our cars

Although they don't have them available yet, they will shortly thanks to Curly (MadCurl) and his desire for the scissor-style doors. He's apparantly taking his car (I'm assuming the Choptop) down there shortly for the conversion!
