I amtakingmy engine appart to change the timming gear.So I took off the valve cover and found out that all the valve rockers are in the same position.Ithinkthat this is a bad thing. Mabey a flat cam.Any ideas,before my imagination gets the best of me.

you usually dont lose ALL the lobes on a cam. see if you can get someone to turn the crank, and see if theres rocker motion.

Yep i tried to turn the crank but as the timming gear is stripped the valve train is not moving with the crank. Irealy hope that i have not lost all of the lobes. What would cause a cam to loose all the lobes. Thanks again
