Finally installed my spare Tiger Capacitive Discharge Ignition in the '86 2M4 using the Mallory HI-6 wiring diagram to for the hook up.
After all the connections were made, the unit was first tested in the bypass mode to confirm correct connections. Engine ran fine, with good tach readings.
Then switched to CD mode. Engine runs fine but tach needle stays at zero. Any wiring suggestions? Remove the tach filter in CD mode?
