86 SE, 3.4 (non TDC), Auto. Fuel pump runs after shut-off anywhere from 15 to 30 seconds. Car also idles high, 2000 RPM and stalls when dropped into gear. Any thoughts on the problem?

oil pressure sending unit could be going south, or Fuel filter could be getting plugged or FP is on its way out

I should have mentioned the following are new:
Fuel pump and filter, oil pressure switch, all major sensors have been replaced or swapped out.

Whats the chance of the injectors leaking down and causing the pump to run?

None.... Fuel pressure does not figure in whether the pump runs or not. That is the job of the regulator, and it controls that by how much fuel is returned to the tank with the fuel pump constantly running. It either has to be the relay sticking, the oil pressure switch, or the driver in the ECM sticking. If you have AC switch the two relays ( they are side by side behind the driver on the fire wall) chances are both are not bad.

Thanks, I will try the relay switch. Also will try the ECM switch.

Any other ideas?
