You don’t really need it for fieros but here’s a trick that I passed on to a friend when he was having problems with a Toyota.


Some cars are difficult to burp once you’ve been inside the coolant system.
Take the thermostat out and push it open.
Hold the thermostat open and put 2 aspirins in it to hold it open.
Put the thermostat back in and fill up the coolant system.
Let it run for a while and keep adding coolant till it wont take any more.
Of course this still wont help with some cars. Just wanted to pass it along.

Why not just take the thermostat out and do the same thing without going through the hassle of jamming it open.

on most cars you need to have the cooling system completley back together in order to add/ burp the system , so you cant leave the thermostat out like in a fiero

i dont like the idea of putting asprin in my cooling system
