what is the BOP bolt patern and which engines have it.

BOP stand for Buick - Olds - Pontiac. These three divisions (and older rear-drive Caddys) used a different bolt pattern on the transmission bellhousing than Chevy did. To mate a Chevy (SBC or BBC) motor to these trannies you need an adapter plate.

for th350-400 auto trans ONLY they swap
some like the older dyno 4 speed autos DONOT SWAP my 400 70 buick had a dyno patern
