Hello everyone ........ Just put new brushes and new gears in my 1986 gt headlight motors and i decided to test the actual motors before i put the assembly back together and realized that motor stay running. As soon as i connect the blue wire the motor starts running and when I turn on actual headlight switch inside the car the motor switches direction. So I'm assuming there has to be a bad relay since there is constant current going to the motor.... Has anyone ever had this problem? Any information would be helpful.
Thanks

When the light reaches the end of the stroke it torques the motor and pushes a switch inside the motor. Little bushings inside the large gear fall apart and bind up the motor so it cant shut off then it strips.
