Boy, sure am glad my new A/C belt broke! When I went under there to replace it, I found that whoever built this engine 3.4 routed the fuel line from the filter up from the bottom and right over the end of the A/C compressor. The pulley had ground into the fuel line until threads were showing--I could have had a nice explosion under my butt.--for now-I tied them away fom the pulley with a wire to the lid hinge. Maybe I should replace --reroute?

Also don’t use wire to tie it up, use a clamp made for securing fuel lines. A wire can cut into the line from vibration or fall apart at a bad moment. I would replace it.

Thanks for the advice-I need it lol I bought the car-drove 12miles-transmission self destructed. Took it to Ed Parks-when they finished the tranny replacement-test drive-rack n pinion fell apart and almost killed Jeremy. Now, I find the fuel lines routed against the end of the A/C compressor.
