I bought a can of Fiberglass Resin to reinforce my headliner board when I redo that. When I opened the top of the can the tube of hardener wasn't there. It's been years since I have used this stuff but I think the hardener is clear, not the red stuff. Right?

Go back to the store where you bought it, and ask for a tube of catalyst.

The catalyst for polyester resin is MEKP - methyl ethyl ketone peroxide.
It's a clear liquid and you use about 20 cc or 3/4 oz. per quart.
