I swapped a 86 SE V6 4 spd manual in my 88' coupe auto fiero. clutch, brake pedal, shifter, new clutch line, new slave cylinder, master cylinder, etc. all installed.

What I need to know, is what do I need to do to the wiring to get it to work? I need to do something with the park/nuetral safety switch on the clutch pedal, and something with the reverse backup switch.

Is the backup switch on the shifter on my transmission, or on the tranny?

The backup switch on my 85SE v-6 4spd is on the shifter. I suspect it is the same on the 86SE v-6 4spd.
