Okay, I just want to have my bases covered here... To recap, my 3.4L TDC is stalling at idle, and setting a code 32 (EGR). I just bought a used one from a junk yard (they're $250 new!), and in case it's *not* the egr... what else could it be? Keep in mind this is a "digital egr", and is nothing more than an electric solenoid, so there are no vacuum lines. The only other thing I can think of is maybe a faulty MAP sensor?

Surely somebody's had a code 32 where it wasn't the egr??

Have you tried resetting the computer?

could it be the egr seloind i know they go out a lot on the 2.8

Thanks for the help... the new egr valve may have fixed it... At least it's not stalling now.
