On my formula I am replacing the pads and rotors up front and then later will be replacing the rear pads. I got both front rotors for 66 dollars and pads all the way around for 66 as well. I am wondering if the pads on an 88 are different from front to back? I have the raybestos semi-metallic pads and they gave me the same part numbers. Just wondering as I need to know this before I reassemble the car.

Rotors and pads are all the same front and back. No difference.

Yep, same parts front and rear. Rather clever of those Pontiac engineers, isn't it?

No, No, No! The rotors are the same, but the pads are the same. Get it right!
