Just pulled 87 fiero out of the garage
where its been for four years.
Did complete tune up,new EGR, new coils,
I have a problem maintaining a steady speed
below 45mph. The car surging up and down in speed?? any ideas

is it giving any codes?check your IAC after sitting that long the carbon has probably harden,messing up the sensor.check all your vac lines,you might have a vac leak.

Did you replace old gas in tank before starting. Could just be "gunk" from old gas in fuel system.

I'm getting Code 25
On third tank of gas first with drygas
2nd with fuel system cleaner
3rd with drygas now at 1/2 tank

code 25 is a bad MAT sensor,or bad sensor connecter.it could be as simple as a sensor change

read the 700 TBI article in my cave. It shows where the MAT sensor is.

You want the type with a plastic cage like shown in the DIS ignition article.
