My 3-4 syncro is shot. I need to locate the parts and would prefer an on-line source. It would be nice if someone produced a generic list of parts needed for a typical rebuild, but I suspect I will have to dissassemble, inspect, make a list, order and wait.

WCF started a thread several months ago about rebuilding a 282 Getrag. In it, they mentioned doing another thread about a 4-spd. rebuild to include part nos. Supposedly, it is a lot easier to do than the Getrag.

The parts are still available - the synchro hub assembly lists for $242.63 and the synchro rings themselves are $51.42 each - or you could get with Chris over at WCF as he has a box full of enough 4 speed parts to choke a horse
