Have you noticed a increase in performance? If so, is it worth it?

No ones using a Superchips chip in a 4.9? Is anyone using one in any Fiero swap?

If you get a chip from rockcrawl you will have a super chip

But no I don't know of anyone with one of these chips.

Don't know about Superchips, but Ed Parks uses one made by Fastchips if the customer requests it. He says that it raises the shift points on the transmission some (since the Caddy auto is electronically controlled) and eliminates the rev and speed limiters, but that's about it.

I think I agree with PBJ about Rockcrawl being the true maker of 4.9 "super" chips.

How does Rockcrawl's chip differ from those by Fastchips and Superchips?

When I was doing my 4.9 buildup (the last 3 months) I contacted SuperChips about a chip for my car and was told that they no longer provide chips for the 4.9 Caddy. Your best bet is to contact Rockcrawl about chip mods

Rocks chips are designed for a 4.9 in a fiero. Has parts removed and altered within, including fuel, spark, pass key, heated windshield, p/s input and the list goes on....

Nothing like a dedicated specific chip made by someone who owns and operates them, not just retails them.
