Hi my 1991 4.9 is giving me problems it takes a good 10 to 20 seconds of turing it over before it will fire but when it is warm it fires right up. Because earlyer that day it didnt do it now it has been about 2 days of doing this can any one help it is really annoying.

Do you have access to a scan tool? What is the reading for the ECM coolant sensor? This sensor is CRITICAL... if its flakey, it will cause these problems or make it not start at all.

Thanks for the ideas It turned out to be the Oil Pressure sensor
