I can't help you on thread size because I'm not at the shop right now, but as far as the pulley goes, double groove is certainly common on farm equipment. They use it there because often the a/c or other accesories are driven off the water pump pulley and so that load is transferred to the drive belts of the alt/water pump. Most of those pulleys, however, are not inexpensive because they are castings or forgings rather than stamped steel items. We have to replace them from time to time because they do wear out. Check with your John Deere or Cat dealer. If you want a Massey-Ferguson P/N, I can get it for you.
I used to have a reference on the thread size and diameter of the shaft, I'll see if I can find it when I get out to the shop.
