Ok I want to change the release arm for the clutch, the arm I am talking about is the one on the outside of the trans. I just picked up a spare Munci 4spd and it has an aftermarket arm that looks shorter than the stock one. (will mean that the clutch fork moves more in relation to the clutch slave movment) It really looks kinda strange. It looks like a bunch of pieces of flat platte steel stacked, then welded and cut out into the shap of the clutch arm. I will post pics of it later.

What are some info that I should need to know when changing it. Shoult I turn the shaft on the tranny till it is tight then put the arm on straight up I am at a total loss on this. I have guesses but I wanted to ask someone that has exp with this.

The shaft is indexed with a groove cut for the bolt to pass through.
It will only go on one way.
