I'm puting the 3.1 out of a lumina APV Minivan and I was wondering if The oil pump and oil pan from the 2.8 will fit on it.

There are two different 3.1L engines. The later gen II engine has DIS, aluminum heads splayed valves, different pistons and a different intake system. The later 3.1L's that I have seen are not interchangable with the earlier 3.1L's and I'm reasonably sure that the oil pans will not interchange.
