Can the door bushings be found local like at Autozone or Checker? I'm bored today and mine are shot. Got a part #?

Pep Boys and Advance Auto here has them. If you have those stores there, check them out. They cost about 6.00 dollars for one pin and set of bushings. I bought a set, but have not done the work yet. Can't seem to find the time

They are sold retail under the MotorMite Help! brand. Thay are not in many parts computers. Just look on the store floor with the rest of the HELP! stuff they carry.

The ones you want are the "short" GM kits. You need 2 kits per door. Also read the notes in my cave.

If they don't have them they should be able to get them. Look in the MotorMite print catalog(s) for a part #.

Try PartsAmerica.com or Autozone.com for them online.

NAPA has them as well, they seem to be a national chain.

Whenever I want to see if a part's at my local AutoZone I go to their website, it's pretty good. www.autozone.com , you can look up parts, get prices and check inventory. I'm pretty much stuck with AutoZone, the closest Pep Boys is 45 miles away...

MotorMite HELP! part number 38407

I recently replaced all four on the 88GT car. I did the job only with the help of a floor jack and a section of 2x4.

When i had to buy my sets for the Fiero, I actually bought pin/bushing sets for an S10. They work perfect, and I've done it to 3 Fiero's so far.. Supposedly its all the same part # as well, but they dont like to put the Fiero in there for some reason..

Actually, I think the bushings are all the same... the pins tho are 2 different lengths. Most GM products seem to use the short ones.

There's some notes in my cave you may want to read if you haven't already.
