I have noticed my right front inner tire is wearing more than all the others. I checked the suspension for worn bushings, ball joint, or general looseness and there was none. The car has 80k miles and no accident damage.

The wear looks like my right front tire was set up for autocross. Is there a quick adjustment I can do to correct this? So much for the Dealers alignment.

Can anyone give me the correct alignment specs for an 88 GT?

Thanks,
Rick 88

toe 0.3 deg +- 2 deg total
camber 0 deg +- .5 deg
caster 5.0 deg +- .5 deg
rear camber -1.0 +- .5 deg
rear toe .15 deg +- .1 deg

From the 88 manual for GT and Formula

The lf camber should be slightly more + than right, and lf caster should be slightly more - than right

Thanks PBJ.

I guess the upper control arm will need shims to tilt the tire more vertical so it will wear evenly. The car tracks arrow straight. I did'nt notice the wear because of that.
