I've seen a few here with the stock motors limited how far they will open. Then they used smaller headlights..

How did you do it? Will it ruin the motors? I have some lights I would like to use. (7 11/16"L x 3 3/4"H x 3 1/4"D) I think 1FAST2M6 has them.... HELP!!!

Thanks
-Haze

Hafta use the newer style motors, Carl. That's what Lawrence Mazza said anyway. I think it looks cool on the few cars that have done that. Best of luck.

If I remember correctly RS Motorsports in Ontario has a slim headlight conversion kit. I can't remember their site address though, I'm sure someone will post it.

I was thinking of doing something like that to my car. On the later cars (87/88) it should be easy to do, just create a stop where you want the mechanism to stop. Should be able to add something to the original stops that are there already. Then fabricate a new mask ( headlight surrond, that black piece) with the new angle and find some new narrow lights to put into them. That would be the biggest problem, finding lights. Brightness and legality are the two limiting factors. I would like something a little (ha, a lot) brighter than stock.
