After searching the forums for correct specs for my allignment, I have got a few different specs,

What is the best settings I should tell them to use?

I Own a 84 SC with a 2.8 (new upper bushings & balljoints on front, new struts on rear)

Last time I went to get it alligned, I left the shop with it WORSE then when I went there, He accused me of hitting a pothole or something and refused to recheck it.

(ended up putting it in storage that month anyways )

(I will be going to a new place this time)

Is this the best settings below?
I got this from one of TheOgres posts:

84-87 Fiero, all models.
All #'s in degrees.

Setting, prefered, tolerance

Front
caster, +5, +-2
Max cross caster, 2
camber, +0.5, +-0.8
Max cross camber, 1.6
total toe, 0, +-0.2
steering wheel angle, +-5

Rear
camber, -1, +-0.5
toe, 0, +-0.2
thrust angle, 0, +-0.15

Cross caster = left cast - right cast
cross camber = left camb - right camb

Thanks! I'll be doing mine next week. The settings may be in the machine, but just in case they are not, it is good to have them...

I noticed the toe setting suggestions were 0+ or-,and I think you'd nearly certainly be pretty dissapointed if you were to have this on the + side,or toed out.
I know shops tend to do get the job done as fast as possible, but it's really worth it to try and find a place to do a decent job with this kind of work.Having done this, one could tighten up the tolerances on the specs listed above.
For example, the rear camber is usually best at something over 1 degree, and the toe at around .13 to .16.
The front camber works pretty good at right around 0,gets "grabby" when in the -,for the street anyways.
Sometimes when you go to a shop to have work done, you just have to hope that they put all the wheels back on correctly, but it's nice to have something to shoot for if you can.
