I just got one hell of a deal on a near mint 84 4spd. Car has new everything execpt motor is blow. Guy called me up and said he is tired of looking at it, I haul it I can have it. Ya Hoo, 85,000 miles new paint factory IMSA style wing even new clutch and all. But what is wrong with it, BLOWN MOTOR, block has a whole in it big enough to put a Q-Ball into. what is the best 4cyl motor to swap in, I am looking for something easy. I am just finishing a V-6 swap and rewire, I want easy and quick. I know nothing about the 84 cars or 4cly for that matter. I just want to do it the simple way and I thought that I should ask all of you.
