There is a vacum directly behind my distributor on the intake manifold.. i have a vacum hose that has an elbow and this should go here .. right.? but where does the elbow connect to on the other end.. (v6 engine) ?

The "General" kindly put a vacuum hose diagram on my decklid. It looks like the hose goes around the back of the engine to right under the MAP sensor on the other side of the intake manifold. From there a metal tube goes to the vapor recovery cannister (looks like a black juice can) at the left rear of the engine compartment. Another line parallels the one you're interested in under the MAP sensor and both of them go the cannister.
