T O P I C R E V I E WTeamPontiac88Hi, My 87 se has an odd problem. When i hit the horn, the courtesy lights under the lash light up and the car makes a buzzing sound.. anyone encounter this? Thanks!slicknickGM's sneaky wiring. You have a blown fuse. Check the horn and courtesy light ones. Someone here may chime in with the correct one though.mike-ohioAs stated check the fuses. But, my horn wouldn’t work one day driving down the road. When I got it in the garage I found out the horn would work when I turned the steering wheel. The horn gets its ground through the steering rack and mine was broke.I hope it’s a fuse.Toy4JimMy 1985 Fiero SE had a problem similar to TeamPontian88's issue. Replacing a blown 20A fuse was the solution. The buzzing sound came from the horn relay under the right hand side of the dash. In addition to the horn not working and the relay buzzing intermittently, I noticed the clock on the factory radio would reset to 1:00 each time the car was started. My courtesy lights would also stay on, albeit dimly with the ignition off and the doors shut. Pressing the horn button would light up the under dash courtesy lights, too. The blown 20A fuse powers the courtesy lamps, horn relay, clock, lighter, power locks relay and power mirrors.
