Mur
-A-Lago Motto

It's MAR a Lago, (Spanish, meaning "Sea to Lake") The property sits on Palm Beach barrier island and spans across the island from the beach on the Atlantic side to the intercoastal waterway, also known as "Lake Worth". Highway A1A cuts through the property as it does several of the enormous old estates of the ultra rich on Palm Beach

I've been a guest there 2 times (once for lunch and once overnight), and I never saw any official "motto", but I can imagine that "My house. My rules" applies there as it does in my home and possibly yours.

This was during the whole "Golfgate" where people were claiming he cheated at Golf.

There is an old adage about golf. If you ask 10 golfers if they cheat at the game, 9 will say they don't. You have just discovered 9 liars.

Hi Randye,

Spelling corrected on my post, musta had a brain bubble.

Got lost in West Palm Beach, in 1988 when we took a wrong turn coming back to our hotel on a beer run.
Took us about 45 minutes to get back to our hotel, at Cypress Creek Rd and I-95.
And by then, we were outta beer again.

Those were the days.

Now, everybody gets bent out of shape if you have a beer in the car, but that's the least of the problems with it.

Damn bathrooms are further apart than beer stores. Not to mention needing a nap after the trip. That really screws with a good beer run.
