I've entered yet another DJ Contest. 😁
It's for "Kings Day", a national holiday where we celebrate the birthday of our King. DJ-ing is one of the many things I do to try to generate an income (since I've been a DJ for a long, long time in my yester years and I'm actually pretty good at it) and winning contests helps me build up a name. I've played a few venues in my home town Haarlem, and occasionally outside of Haarlem but since I don't have a name yet, I usually don't get paid at all or I get paid in free drinks. Which is awesome in itself because, hey, who doesn't want to go out, listen to the music you like and get free drinks? 😄
Anyway, the winner is partly determined by the number of listeners to your mix, the number of minutes it has been listened to (so that people don't just click on the link a thousand times, but actually listen to the mix) and the number of "likes".
So if you have nothing to do for half an hour or so, please listen to my mix (preferably as long as possible of course) by clicking the below link. It's Tech House, so if you don't like it, turn off your sound if necessary. 😉
