It appears he is holding the outlet and wire run for the picture. For the lulz is my guess.

The problem with the shower outlet is that it isn't a groundfault receptacle.

Doesn't have to be if the one it receives power from is. Like yard outlet's. Commonly, the outlet closest to the house is GFI but the one out in the yard somewhere is not, because it's a slave outlet to the one closest to the house. Arguably, the GFI in the bathroom is probably an outlet near the sink and any other outlet in the bathroom that needs GFI protection would be a slave to the one by the sink.

heat/ac unit does look weird maybe legal. You would need more info then one pic.
Notice is missing a air filter slot too. Likely the user replaceable filter is in/on a single air inlet near by.

Or could have a GFCI in a breaker in a load center.

Shower plugs are UK type w/ 240VAC and UK and others allows GFCI in their Consumer Units. I believe most "GFCI" (UK called an RCD) are install that way there not like in the plug in most of the US.
But UK rules won't allow this shower plugs even then. I think Won't allow any plugs switches etc w/in X distance from a tube/shower under current rule book.
(John Ward has good videos about current UK electric codes etc. Example: Residual Current Devices (RCD) - How they work )
