Brief video of small, single-engine civilian aircraft being piloted to an emergency landing amidst freeway traffic on Interstate 580 in California just the other day.

I once had the experience of co-piloting an aircraft like this for a few minutes under the watchful eye of the pilot. I had not any previous training and it was not a student scenario. I was just trying to keep it straight and level.

That was perhaps TMI. Too Much Information. I just did not want to leave anyone with the impression that I am trying to pass myself off as being or ever having been a pilot, or even a student pilot. It's because of the way that I set up this Topic.

Here I thought it was going to be about this Utah pilot. Hours after a domestic violence arrest he managed to get a plane and crash it into the home his wife and child were in.
