Hope it's a good safe race today.

They had Dale SR's 1980 race car lead the warm up laps, that was cool. The raceway presented the car to Dale Jr.

Just 12 cars left in the last 5 laps. Keselowski took the final flag.

LOL

I went to the wrecks and saw a race. Kinda like going to the fights and a hockey game breaks out.

Prob one of the best superspeedway races ever !!!! Lots of strategy, action, door to door racing. No clear winner till the last turn.

Kansas is going to be epic since its the final race of the group in the runoffs. Most all of the players MUST win to get in the finals. Only 2 are in for sure and the rest are all up for grabs. Dega really shook up points.

I enjoyed seeing the sons of two former champions race each other for the lead.

The last stage turned into a "demo derby" late in the race, I believe it set a record for the fewest running cars at the end of a race, (to be "fair" Nascar's rules this year regarding crash damage played a big part. My guess is they will be taking a look at that...)

Stage racing has put some fire under Nascar. It MAKES drivers all actually race from beginning to end for positions. As soon as last year, all the good cars just dropped to the back and followed around in a line until the last pit stop. THAT is when they started to race. They had 450 lap warm ups and a 50 lap real race. You could just watch the last 1/2 hour of any race and ignore the rest. I want, and like, watching each driver go balls to the wall from lap one.

I disagree. Some of the veterans started at the back...and they ran like hell to get to the front. The back half was 'also rans', broken cars and just plain slower cars. Any vet got as far as they could get to the front on every lap. Johnson even spun out twice in a few laps all on his own. I was sorry to see Larson blow up...like to seen him in the finals.
