Can't say I've ever seen one until now. Where do they go?

They go into the tail end of the sail frame where it is attaches to the body on the top of the rear quarter panel/ trunk side area.

Ill put it on my to do list if i get ahold of one or measurements.
Im currently working on some printable reproduction parts. Right now im working on redoing the manual shift plate. One of our forum members meticulously reproduced it in cad. however its design never had 3D printing in mind so it needs work.
Rough draft without any finishing work.
Edit:
I would be very concerned about the strength of the 3D printed part in the thin back spot pointed at.
