Imsa Fastback body (Page 1/2)
ccfiero350 APR 08, 04:09 PM
I have an early IMSA Fastback body that I am thinking about getting off my lift. It is complete, doors, trim, fenders, nose and not seen very often, the whale tail.

This is not for the light hearted, it is a take off from another car. Not sure who made it but the entire rear clip is a single piece except for the decklid/whale tail.

While post some images as soon as I find them again.

This is just wrong. You're local, but I JUST put my van in the shop for an engine swap and a/c conversion a week ago, basically depleting all my car money. Good luck with the sale.

Any pic updates?

Hi,

Is this still available or has it been sold? If it is still available how much are you asking for it? I would really appreciate seeing some assorted pix of the body, etc. If you can't post them here, please email them to me directly at LHUBBERT2@BRIGHTHOUSE.COM as I am very interested. Thank you and have a great day.

Here are some pics of the front clip. The fastback parts are banana yellow. I do have a few original DGP racing panels left too.

You can see the whale tail on the car in back. The DGP spoiler is taped on the nose to see how it would fit.

I'm still looking for pics of the rear clip.

Hi,

Thanks for the pix and I'm looking forward to seeing more pix of the rear when you locate them. You didn't answer my previous question however. Is it still available? If so how much are you asking for it? What all goes with it? Where is it located? Any additional Info you can provide? I am in located in New Port Richey, FL (Tampa Bay Area of West Central Florida) and I'd have to figure how to get it down here. Thanks and have a great day.

I was able to get to storage today and took a few more pics of the Imsa panels

This is one of the ear marks of an early kit, full door panels.

Rather then doing just the lower aero part, the did the whole shabang.

You transplant your door handle and lock mechanisms from your donor car and glue them to the back of these.

The other big tell is that the rear bumper and fenders are made in one piece. So shipping is a big pallet unless I cut it up.

I will get a few more images of the rear clip and whale tail.

I dug out the whale tail for more pics

It looks like the whale tail was made before the fast backs were readily available as they made a full under structure panel too.

I will dig out the rear clip soon and take some more pics.

Hmm ... if we swap suspension parts, I will be going through Houston. I could pick them up.

(See the thread about two Fieros being parted out.)
Also, PM's replied to.

I have not dug the rear clip out yet, but here's one pic.

Another little odd note, the rear belt line rub strip is a separate fiber glass piece. Also I have the fiber fender liners.
