Giving away a GTP in NH (Page 1/2)
CJB118 MAR 03, 05:32 PM
We are demolishing our garage and driveway and replacing with upgrades this summer. Permits and financing are just now locked in, so its a go. This will be a crazy thrash on our small property, and we have to make room asap. One of our surplus vehicles is my former DD, a 2001 2-door GTP with 130000 miles. Not currently running, but my diagnostics point to a bad CKP. Just last summer this car took us on vacation from NH to SC and back, needing only a half-pint of PS fluid during the trip.
I am offering this car for free to anyone on PFF who wants it for a Fiero build. It is a complete car, so you would get the engine, M90, 4t65e-HD, axles, and complete wiring harness, and you could sell everything not usable in your build. You can tow it away, or try replacing the CKP and hopefully drive it away, your choice. I need it gone by March 20. Placing a reply on this thread will automatically notify me, so use that to get first dibs. Car is located in Rindge NH, about 5 miles from the MA border.

Ok, Carl put me in touch with a Fiero owner who needs this deal, and they contacted me already, so it looks like dibs are in. Thanks to all.

Crankshaft position sensor.....I think.
CJB118 MAR 03, 09:33 PM
Yes, that is the abbreviation used for the crank position sensor, I recently finished building a swap harness and still have a brain full of wiring and sensor acronyms.....!

......"Cranky Positron sensibility".....?

OK, I'll just shut up now.........

Let me know if that deal falls through.

UPDATE: a PFF forum member made arrangements, and just today picked up the car, so it is no longer available. Thanks to all for the interest, and now the construction begins. We bought a gopro-type camera just so we can do a timelapse video of the project and post it online.
