Welcome to the Forum!

All the basic Fiero knowledge is found in the Ogre's Cave. Spend some time there and you will learn a lot about your car. Check the pull down menu for Powertrain/Cooling/Thermostat for your answer.

Ok checked that out, so I can go to 180*, but do I need to or want too ? I understand the V6 can run hot, If I'm having no problems should I leave it at 195*

OK why ?

The V6 is designed to operate at 195*. With a correct running cooling system ( Ex: good water pump, fresh antifreeze, no leaks, non-smashed cooling tubes, good rubber hoses) you'll have no issues.
