Has anyone used this in a Fiero? or does anyone know why it would be any different from one in a G6? I would like to do a 3800 SC six speed build. I'm not sure if Archie still sells the 6-speed kits (guessing no) but I know WCF sells some custom parts and I'm pretty handy with fabrication if needed. Let me know your experience/thoughts.

Those transmissions will have the Ecotec bellhousing pattern, and would need an adapter plate to mate to a 3800. The only F40 that will bolt up to the 3800 is from the '06/'07 G6.

As Will said, it will need an adapter plate to work with the 3800. It also has different bolt boss locations on the case for mounts, shifter bracket and a different clutch line connector.
What that means is that most available F40 swap flywheels, mounts, shifter bracket, and clutch line connector will not work...

Thanks for the responses. I'm looking to get an F40 out of a G6 but I saw ZZPerformance sells reman buick regal F40 and wanted to know if it could be a replacement in the future.

ZZP also sells products for the Ecotec engine family... which the Regal transmission is from.
