What is the best lube for the door lock mechanism? Not sure if it's because of the cold weather but neither of my power lock solenoids have enough umph to unlock the doors. I know this is a common problem and i've dealt with it in the past. They'd been working fine since I replaced the solenoids and cleaned all of the crud out of the latch but I never greased anything after doing that.

If it is just the lock cylinder try some graphite. For the door lock mechanism/rods I use a white lithium grease and it appears to work OK.

Check PL wiring... Iffy grounds etc can make problems. PL uses Think is same ground screwed down to right A pillar under dash as PW etc. Relay Bracket is Ground for this looking at FSM.

Door allows water etc to get at the main latch assembly and outside lock parts.

Many use White grease but can use Brake grease or silicon that won't wash out easily and sheds water off.
Car wash soap etc works ageist all oil based lubes that most white greases are.

For short duration can try WD40 etc but some Liquid Wrench products and maybe others can "freeze" in cold weather too.
Silicon Spray should work better and last longer.
Can try spraying latch you see but likely won't help here.
Spray in the door at the "rubber" end where window ends pointed to the main latch.
use long tube so spray doesn't go on glass or window parts you will have a big mess to clean because the rear window "track" here hates any lube.

Lubing Outer lock might not help power lock problems.
Level on the lock back can get rust etc and spray anything in the lock may not help.
