Hello to all the members of the forum, my name is Saul and I have a fiero gt of 86 2.8 v6 of stock in Spain.
I would like to put a muffler flowmaster 80 series and would appreciate if someone could post or send photos of your installation to my email, I have been looking for the forum on this topic and found several publications and different opinions, but no photo of the installation. Thank you very much everyone and excuse my English.

The Flowmaster crossflow muffler has been installed in Fieros but with a stock engine it will just give you more exhaust noise. It wont do anything to give you more horsepower. Having said that, the install used to maintain the factory dual exhaust look, uses a series of mandrel bends. Welding and fabricating is required.. This is a job best done by an exhaust shop that has pipe bending and mandrel forming equipment. Don't have pictures to share but if you search the arcives there should be some to look at.

Thank you very much Dennis LaGrua, my intention is not to gain more power, but a more aggressive and deep sound (style v8), that what I have read with the 80 series is what is achieved with the stock engine of the fiero, but needed some photo of the installation, because in the workshop they say that it is not possible to mount it for lack of space and it is clear that many in the USA have done it.

Welcome to the forum. If you go to Frozenboost .com there is a link to stainless steel mandrel bends that you can weld up to make your own exhaust system. If you have a welder of course.

Many of the crossflow muffers that available are manufactured in China. They tend to be smaller, non-restrictive and will fit the available space. They should be available in your country. If you can access eBay look on that site.

Thank you I take note, but I would appreciate if someone sent me a photo of the installation in a fiero 2.8 stock

I have been using this muffler for years now. I have only been able to find it in 2.5" openings. When they first came out, it was claimed that they are a remake of the older Flowmaster Delta 40 series that Thrush started to make. Is has held up well being rewelded 3 times for 3 different engines. I was able to use this with a 3800 swap with no removal of the heat shields or modifying the trunk. For a stock 2.8 you are going to have to use adapters and or have pipes bent to make the openings. It is a few inches longer than the stock muffler. They list the overall lenth as 21" but the body is 15".
