Old Lar FEB 15, 08:21 PM When I had the headliner replaced in my 87 GT w sun roof, I bought a new headliner backing board for the job. I took the car to an upholstery shop for the job and they asked what it was for. I explained that I had been told the old backer board would crumble when it gets removed. He said that was because they didn't know what they were doing. They redid my headliner with no issues and I sold the backer board to someone else.
